In addition to running the Magistracy, these magic-users also run schools for wizards, and provide training programs for sorcerers. Both programs are designed to make arcane spellcasters more efficient. Wizards and sorcerers who are not licensed through these programs are not allowed to practice magic in the Magistracy. Keepers tend to look down on wizards and sorcerers who have not completed this training, seeing them as being reckless and having poor form. Wild magic is viewed as a sign of something fundamentally wrong with a person’s character or mental faculties. The Keepers’ schools operate both inside and outside the Magistracy, though registration and spellcasting restrictions are only imposed inside the Magistracy.
